Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos have done it yet again! The Fall 2015 presentation packed a serious punch while uplifting their signature eccentric detailing. It was clear that this dynamic duo focused on experimenting with various textures as well as injecting a bit of 70s flair into some of their more modern looks.
The Fall 2015 collection housed a plethora of neon outlines, structured shoulders, flared hems and an impressive take on reinventing the classic trench. The show began on a subtle note, primarily showcasing muted hues and embroidered wonders. Pilotto kept things feminine and fresh with palettes of white that seemed to literally float down the runway.
The show’s progression soon took a turn towards more darker tones that altered the course of the entire presentation! With an emphasis placed on abstract strokes of color and statement-making pairings, the audience was allowed a brief glimpse into Pilotto’s dream world. The versatility of the pieces further validate the sheer genius of these young designers while breathing new life into our everyday basics. Side note: This collection took turtlenecks to a whole new level!
